Build your first app
Describe your idea in chat and watch Evonx scaffold a working web app and API in minutes. No code required.
In about ten minutes, you'll go from a one-sentence idea to a real, running application — a web app for your users and an API with its own database behind it. You don't need to write any code.
We'll build a working example you can follow along with: Garage Usta, a small auto-service shop that wants to track vehicles, customers, and repair jobs.
Describe your idea
-
Open your business and start a new chat from the home screen.
-
Describe what you want in plain language. Be specific about who uses the app and what they need to do:
I run an auto-service shop. I need an app where my staff can register customer vehicles, open repair jobs with notes and photos, track job status, and see a daily overview of the workshop.
-
Send the message. Evonx analyzes your request and decides how to build it — for a custom idea like this one, it creates a greenfield custom project: a web application for your staff and a separate API project with its own database.
Watch the scaffold come to life
Evonx now creates two repositories inside your business — one ending in -web (the
user interface) and one in -api (the backend and database) — and generates the
first version of your app in them: screens, data model, and seed data that match
your description.
You can follow the progress in the chat. When scaffolding finishes, Evonx suggests the next steps as action cards — the most important one is starting a live preview.
Check your work
You should now see:
- Two new repositories in your business (for Garage Usta: a web app and an API).
- A chat thread summarizing what was built — the screens, the data model, and what the AI decided along the way.
- Suggested next actions, including Preview.
Next step
Your app exists, but you haven't seen it run yet. Continue the journey: Preview your app — or jump straight to the Preview Hub overview if you want the full tour of the preview system.
