Animated 3D character generator3D characters that already move.

Evonx builds your character as an animated 3D character: a 3D model, auto rigging, then idle, walk and run animations, then slims the file so it loads fast on a phone. The game plays each clip by name.

From mesh to motion

One model, four steps.

  1. The character drawn in a neutral A-pose becomes a 3D mesh: 3,496 triangles, 0.6 MB, no bones yet.

  2. A rigging model fits 24 bones inside it, from the hips to the toes, and binds the mesh to them.

  3. Each rigging call returns walk and run; idle is a call of its own. Evonx folds them into one file with three named clips.

  4. The rigger hands back 2048 px PNG textures. Evonx re-encodes them to 1024 px WebP; the skeleton and every keyframe stay as they were.

Built for phones

Nine times lighter, frame for frame the same.

A rigged character came back from the rigging service at 7.06 MB, most of it three 2048 px PNG textures. Evonx re-encodes them to 1024 px WebP and keeps the mesh, the skin and every animation keyframe byte for byte. The file drops to 0.77 MB.

Rendered at the same moment of the same clip, the two files are hard to tell apart: the difference measured 0.3%.

Renders from the live test, 17 Oct 2026. Skin, joints and keyframes are unchanged; only the textures were re-encoded.

Ready for the game

Named clips, a standard skeleton.

AI character animation that the game can use as is: the game's manifest lists the model and its clips, and the game plays them by name: idle while waiting, walk and run as the character moves. The skeleton uses the usual humanoid joint names, so clips and code line up.

How it works

Ask for a hero. Get one that moves.

Draw

Pictures first

The character is drawn in the game's art direction, in an A-pose so the rig can find its arms and legs.

Rig

Mesh, bones, clips

The pictures become a mesh, the mesh is rigged automatically, and the clips come back on that skeleton, folded into one GLB.

Ship

Into the game

The slimmed file lands in the game's models folder and its clips go into content/assets.json, where the game finds them by name.

Questions

Animated characters, answered.

What is a rigged character?

A 3D model with a skeleton inside it; character rigging is the step that puts it there. Each part of the mesh is bound to a bone, so moving the bones moves the body; an animation clip is a recorded movement of those bones. This character has 24 bones and three clips.

What kinds of characters can be rigged?

Humanoid ones: a head, two arms, two legs. Animals, vehicles and creatures with other body plans are not rigged today.

Which animations come with a character?

Idle, walk and run. The rigging model returns walk and run on every call, and idle is one more call; Evonx joins them into one file with three named clips.

Will it run on a phone?

The character on this page is 0.77 MB with 3,496 triangles and three WebP textures. Before slimming, the same character was 7.06 MB.

Which plan includes animated characters?

Plus. Animated 3D characters are part of the Plus plan's game art.
