Educaplay alternative: a game your class plays, or an activity it completes.
Educaplay is a classroom activity maker: you pick an activity type, type your content and share it. EvonX is an AI game maker: you describe a game, play it in a preview and change it by chatting. They solve different problems, and for most classroom work Educaplay is the one built for it.

The actual difference
Educaplay gives you ready activity types, including word search, crossword, Froggy Jumps, quiz, map quiz, fill in the blanks, matching pairs and memory. You choose one, enter your words or questions and share the activity. It connects to Google Classroom, Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard and Microsoft Teams, and supports SCORM and LTI.
EvonX does not have activity types. It has game templates, and the one made for words today is a word search with levels, hints, effects and sound. You describe the game in a sentence, play it in a phone preview and ask for changes in the same chat: a different subject, bigger grids, a new look.
If you need to assess students and record their results, stay with Educaplay. If you want a word game that feels like a mobile game and you are happy to share a link, EvonX is worth a try.

When EvonX may not be the right choice
You need to assess and record
EvonX has no gradebook, no student accounts and no class reports.
You need many activity types
Crossword, quiz, map quiz, matching and fill in the blanks are not EvonX templates. You can ask for one, but it is built from scratch and may need several rounds of edits.
You need printable sheets
EvonX makes games to play on a screen, not PDFs to print.
You need an app store build
EvonX games are web games: a published game opens in mobile and desktop browsers. EvonX does not package games for the App Store or Google Play.
Price
Educaplay has a free plan and paid plans; see educaplay.com for current prices. Building, editing and playing in the live preview are free on the Starter plan with no credit card. You can publish a shareable link on Starter too, with the EvonX badge; Plus ($4.99/month), Pro ($19.99/month) and Max ($99.99/month) add more AI credits, and Pro removes the badge.
Educaplay questions
Is EvonX better than Educaplay?
Not as a general claim. Educaplay is the better tool for classroom activities, grading and LMS work. EvonX is for when you want students to play a game with levels and art, made from a description.
Can I import my Educaplay activities into EvonX?
No. Copy your word list into the chat and describe the game; EvonX builds a new one.
Does EvonX connect to Google Classroom?
There is no integration and no grade sync. A published game is a link, which you can post anywhere a link can go.
Do students need an account to play an EvonX game?
