What the word search template plays like

Drag to circle a word
The word list sits above the grid. Drag across the letters of a word in a straight line and it is circled and crossed off.
Grids that grow
Forty levels grow from an 8 × 8 grid with five words to a 14 × 14 grid with thirteen. Across and down come first; diagonal and backwards words open later.
A subject per level
Each level has its own subject, such as animals, fruit, the kitchen, weather, the sea, space or sports. The template ships with English and Turkish word lists.
Hints, not a timer
A hint marks a word's first letter and a reveal circles a word. There is no move budget and no losing; on harder levels the list shows blanks instead of the words.
Every grid is checked
Each level of the template is generated and checked so every word appears once and no extra list word is spelled by accident.

How to make a word search game with AI
Say what it is about
"A word search with ocean animal words" is enough to start from the template.
Add your words or a grid size
Paste your own list or ask for "ten kitchen words and a bigger grid". The words live in the level files, so a new list is a content change.
Play the first levels
Drag across the words in the phone preview and check that the grid feels right.
Change it in chat

No printable PDF
The word search is a game played on a screen. If you need a sheet to photocopy, a printable word search generator fits better.
No class gradebook
There are no student accounts, scores sent to a teacher or LMS connection.
No crossword or quiz template yet
Word search is the word template EvonX has today. You can ask for a quiz, but it is built from scratch rather than from a tested template.
No app store package
EvonX games are web games: a published game opens in mobile and desktop browsers. EvonX does not package games for the App Store or Google Play.

Can I make a word search with my own word list?
Paste the list in the chat and ask for it. The template keeps its words in the level files, so changing them is a content change to the game, not a new game. Play the levels afterwards to check the grid.
Can I print the word search?
No. EvonX makes a word search game to play in a browser, not a printable sheet.
Which directions can the hidden words run?
The first levels hide words across and down. More directions open as the levels go on, up to all eight on the late levels, including diagonal and backwards words.
Can players lose a word search level?
No. The template has no moves, no timer and no lives. Hints and a reveal help a stuck player.
Can students play it on a phone?
Yes, the game is touch-first. You play it in the phone preview while you build; a shareable link needs publishing, which works on Starter too, with the EvonX badge.
