You make a game from one sentence with AI by naming a loop, not a mood. “A match-3 game set in a royal medieval castle” is a sentence an AI game generator can build. “Make a fun game” is not. In EvonX that first sentence becomes a TypeScript + Phaser project you play in a phone-sized preview. A second sentence — “make it candy-themed” — should reskin the same levels, not start over.
This is a how-to. The buying criteria sit on the best AI game generator page.
The five-part sentence
Write five parts, in any order, as long as they are all there.
- Genre — match-3, parking jam, survivor shooter, sliding-block, room shooter.
- Theme — royal castle, candy, zombie rooftops.
- Goal — clear the lot, beat the boss, hit the score.
- One twist — a 3D orc warlord, a skill card every level, a striped-candy blast.
- Feel — portrait, tap-to-fire, tight board.
EvonX has 29 genre templates. When the genre matches, generation starts from that loop. When it does not, the build is from scratch and less predictable. Do not name a commercial title and expect a clone. Name the kind of game.
The text to game page uses the same five parts. Remix recorded sentences on the AI game generator page.
Sentences that already played
These clips were recorded from EvonX. Left column is the sentence.
| Sentence | What played |
|---|---|
| “A top-down shooter where I fight a 3D orc warlord boss” | Portrait shooter, generated 3D boss |
| “A match-3 game set in a royal medieval castle” | Swaps, cascades, castle art |
| “Make it candy-themed” | Same match-3, candy pieces |
| “A parking jam game where I tap the cars out of the lot” | Tap-to-exit cars |
| “A zombie survival shooter where I pick a new skill every level” | Horde, then a three-skill card |
| “A sliding-block puzzle with a level-complete screen and a score” | Tight board, score card |

The candy line is the important one. The how-to is not finished at generate. You stay in the same project.

After the first sentence
- Play the preview on a phone-sized frame. Catch a dead board before you add lore.
- Change one thing. “Fewer moves on level 4.” “Add a rocket booster.”
- Publish a link on Plus ($20/month) or Pro ($99/month). Starter is free to build and preview, no credit card. Pricing.
- Send the URL. Teachers, collaborators, a class.
You own the project. Opening the code is optional. EvonX does not make App Store or Google Play packages. If that is the next step, rebuild in an engine after the sentence has proven the loop — GDevelop vs an AI game generator.
What one sentence cannot do
It cannot stand in for a design doc on an open 3D world, real-time multiplayer with other players, or a console SKU. It cannot copy a named hit. If the job is a Steam Windows build, Rosebud’s higher plans are the closer neighbour. If the job is hosted 2–4 player, Tesana documents that path. The three-way sit-down is Tesana vs Rosebud vs EvonX.
Sentences that waste a run
“Make Candy Crush.” Named clones stall or come out generic. “Make it fun.” No loop. “Open world with crafting and friends.” Wrong tool. “A bit like that game I saw.” No genre.
Rewrite before you hit generate. If you cannot name the fail state in the sentence, you do not have a sentence yet.
Quick answers
Do I need to code? No.
How long is “one sentence”? One clear sentence. Five parts beat a paragraph of lore.
What if the genre is new? EvonX still builds; expect more editing.
