  • Each tube holds a stack of colours. Only the top run of one colour can be poured.
  • A pour lands on a tube that is empty or whose top colour matches.
  • A tube has a capacity. A pour that does not fit is refused.
  • The level is won when every tube is a single colour or empty.
  • An extra empty tube is a booster, not a free tube on every level.

Sort puzzles are planning. The player should be able to see the top of every tube. Hidden colours are a later twist, not the first level, or the first pour feels random.

What can I pour in the sort template?

The top colour of a tube, onto an empty tube or onto the same colour, and only if it fits.

Are water sort and ball sort different games?

They share this template. The difference is the art and whether you ask for hidden colours or a different capacity.
