Your groomer feels the coat, checks the skin and asks how it behaves between visits. A double-coated husky needs a very different plan from a doodle that mats behind the ears, and you hear the plan before we start.
We pat and towel first, then use a gentle cabinet dryer on a low setting. Loud force-dryers are for the dogs who enjoy them, and your groomer will tell you when your dog is one of those.
Hand-scissoring around the face and feet, a coat shape that grows out neatly and a ribbon, bandana or nothing at all, as you like. We photograph the result so you can ask for it again.
Before you leave, we snap a quick photo at the mirror wall so you can see the shape in good light and we remember the cut next visit.
We work through tangles gently with a comb before water touches the coat, because wet mats tighten and hurt.
A shampoo chosen for skin type, rinsed in warm water, then a conditioner that suits the coat.
Towel, low dryer and a final brush, followed by the clip, scissor work and a nail trim.
You get a picture, a short note about anything we noticed, and a date for the next visit if you want one.

Most small dogs are done in about two hours, large or double-coated breeds in three and a half. We text you when your pet is on the dryer so you can plan the walk back.
Yes. We ask for proof of C5 vaccination for dogs and F3 for cats when you arrive for the appointment, and we can scan a certificate straight from your phone.
Tell us when you book. We never force a frightened animal, we use positive handling and breaks, and we will say honestly if a vet visit would be kinder.
