Talent agency and management · West Hollywood

Representation that reads the script, negotiates the deal and answers the phone.

Hallbrook Talent is a boutique agency with thirty-eight clients and six agents. We represent actors, directors, writers and online creators, and every client has a named agent who knows their next three projects and their last three contracts.

Agents read every submission. We reply to promising reels within three weeks.

What a good agent does

Four things we do for every client

Talent is the product, and the job is to keep your name in the right rooms. This is how we work.

Hands holding a thick script in a backstage dressing room

We read before we pitch

Before your agent suggests a role, she reads the script, the director's last two films and the production's budget. If the part is thin or the producer is slow to pay, she will tell you before you travel.

Contracts explained in plain English

Our in-house business affairs lawyer reviews every offer, from a short commercial to a multi-year series commitment. You see the redlines and understand each clause before you sign.

A plan for the next three years

Every client has a yearly career meeting. We set goals for the next twelve months, map the people you should meet and decide which roles to turn down.

Someone who picks up

Clients have their agent's mobile number. For urgent offers we promise a reply within two hours on weekdays and by noon on weekends.

What clients say

“Hallbrook turned down an offer I wanted because the payment terms were wrong. Six weeks later the same producer returned with a better one.”
P. RamanActor, series regular
“I have had agents who never read my scripts. Dana read the pilot twice and sent me three pages of notes before our first call.”
E. CruzWriter and executive producer
“From the first conversation they treated me like a business, not a face. The brand deals I get now are twice as good as two years ago.”
