Services

Everything between the idea and the master file.

Writing, directing, camera, sound, edit, colour and delivery under one roof. Hire us for the whole film or for the stage where your own team needs reinforcement.

What is included in every project

Six disciplines, all staffed by people we employ or book year after year.

Script pages with handwritten notes and highlights

Development and scripting

A treatment, a script or an interview outline, and a shot list. We research your audience and your competitors' films first.

Cinematography

ARRI and Sony cinema cameras, prime lenses, and lighting kits that fit through a restaurant kitchen door.

Location sound

Boom, lavalier and backup recorders on every shoot, because dialogue you cannot hear cannot be fixed in post.

Producing and permits

Location scouting, city permits, talent releases, catering and insurance certificates, handled by a producer you can phone.

Edit and colour

A story edit, a polish edit and a final grade on a calibrated reference monitor.

Delivery

Broadcast masters, web files, captions in English and Spanish, and social cutdowns in four aspect ratios.

A typical six-week schedule

What happens in each week

  1. 01

    Week one: treatment and quote

Discovery call, research, a written treatment and a fixed price.

  2. 02

    Week two: script and storyboard

First draft of the script, storyboards and a shot list for your review.

  3. 03

    Week three: casting and locations

Talent, locations and permits are locked, and the crew is booked.

  4. 04

    Week four: the shoot

One to five shooting days, with daily rushes sent to you every evening.

  5. 05

    Week five: first cut

A story edit with temporary music for your notes.

  6. 06

    Week six: finish and deliver

Colour, sound mix, captions and every file format you asked for.

Questions producers ask us

Can you work with footage we already have?

Yes. Send us a sample and we will tell you honestly whether it will grade well and what extra shooting would help. Many of our finishing clients bring us phone and drone footage as well.

Who owns the film when it is finished?

You do. We keep a showreel licence and tell you before we use any frame publicly. Licensed music and stock clips stay with the original rights holders under the terms listed in your quote.

How many revision rounds are included?

Two rounds on the edit and one on the colour and mix. A third edit round is billed at a flat $450 so you know the cost before you ask.

Do you shoot outside Atlanta?

We travel across Georgia, the Carolinas, Florida and Tennessee. Travel days are listed separately on the quote at cost plus ten percent.

Can you produce in Spanish?

Two of our crew are native Spanish speakers, and we can direct, caption and mix in Spanish or deliver bilingual versions.
