Wedding planning studio · Charleston and the Lowcountry

Plan the wedding you pictured, then actually enjoy the day.

We are four planners who look after the budget, the vendors, the timeline and the rain plan, so your engagement is spent on the decisions only the two of you can make. We take twenty-two weddings a year between Charleston, Kiawah and the sea islands, and each couple keeps the same lead planner from the first call to the last dance.

Now booking spring and autumn dates for next year.

How we plan

Three habits our couples notice first

Most of planning is paperwork and phone calls. We keep it visible, so you always know what has been decided and what is still waiting on someone.

Planning desk with a clipboard and laptop

A budget you can open at any hour

Your shared budget sheet changes the moment a vendor sends a quote or an invoice. Each line shows what is paid, what is due next and how much we negotiated off the first number, so the final month holds no surprises.

Florist arranging a bouquet

Vendors we have worked beside

We suggest florists, caterers and bands we have watched cope with a heatwave or a late shuttle bus. You meet two options for each role rather than a list of twelve, and one of us sits in on every tasting and walkthrough.

A minute-by-minute day sheet

Three weeks out, every vendor receives the same timeline: load-in times, the family photo list, who carries the rings and where the umbrellas are stored. On the day, two of us run it on radios while you stay with your guests.

Process

From first call to the last song

  1. 01

    Discovery call

Forty-five minutes on video about guest count, budget range, the feel you want and any family situations we should handle gently.

  2. 02

    Venue and date

We shortlist three venues that fit your numbers, book the visits and read the contracts before you sign anything.

  3. 03

    Design and vendor team

A mood board, a floor plan and a vendor line-up chosen with you over two long planning sessions.

  4. 04

    The final month

Confirmations, the seating chart, the rehearsal and a weather decision five days before the wedding.

  5. 05

    The wedding day

Your lead planner and an assistant arrive at breakfast and leave once the getaway car has turned the corner.

Before you book a call

Do you plan weddings outside Charleston?

Yes, anywhere within three hours of the city, plus a few destination weddings a year. Travel and lodging for the team are billed at cost.

What happens if it rains?

Every venue we book gets a written rain plan with a decision time. We place the tent hold or indoor backup when you sign the venue contract, not the week before.

Can we hire vendors you have not worked with?

Of course. We call them early, share our timeline format and walk the venue together so the day runs the same way.

How many weddings do you run on one weekend?

One per lead planner. Your planner will never leave your reception for someone else's.

How are payments split?

The retainer holds the date, a second payment is due at the design meeting and the balance two weeks before the wedding.

From couples we planned for

“Ines found our florist, talked the caterer down by eleven percent and still remembered that my grandmother needed a seat near the aisle. I never opened the budget sheet in a panic.”
Priya S.Married on Johns Island, 160 guests
“It poured an hour before the ceremony. By the time we noticed, the chairs were under the oaks, the band had moved and someone was handing out umbrellas.”
Daniel K.Groom, autumn wedding on Wadmalaw Island
“We live in Chicago and only flew down twice. They ran every tasting on video and sent photos of each sample table before we chose.”
