Fairway Pines opened in 1998 on a former tree farm. Superintendent Mia Cho oversees fescue rough, native pollinator plots between holes 4 and 5, and a irrigation schedule that keeps bentgrass healthy through humid Carolina summers without overwatering the mountain slopes.
