Where to stay
We have held rooms at two hotels in Chacras de Coria, a leafy village twenty minutes from the winery. Use the code CLARAMATEO when you book, and tell us which one you chose for the shuttle list.
After six years, two cities and one very long-distance winter, we are getting married at a family-run winery at the foot of the Andes. Everything you need is on this page: the weekend schedule, how to reach Mendoza, where to stay, and the RSVP form we would love you to fill in soon.
Please reply within four weeks of receiving your invitation.

The ceremony starts at five in the afternoon, when the vineyard is at its most golden.
Come for one day or all three. Shuttles run from both hotels to every event.
Grilled meat, roasted vegetables, Malbec and a lot of introductions. Very casual.
Thirty-five minutes to the winery. The last shuttle back leaves at 02:00.
Short, outdoors and partly in Spanish; printed translations will be on your chair.
Five courses at long tables and a band that knows both cumbia and ABBA.
Empanadas, the last of the cake and slow goodbyes before the airport runs.
Most of you are flying a long way for this. Here is what we have learned from making the trip ourselves.

Arrive a day early and join the Friday morning walk through the malbec rows with the Andes on the horizon. Mateo's cousin runs it and will not let anyone leave without a glass.

We have a list of favourite lunch spots, an olive grove that does tastings and a hot spring an hour into the mountains. Ask us for it.
Fly into Mendoza, usually via Buenos Aires or Santiago. The short hop over the Andes from Santiago deserves a window seat.

Your company is the gift, and many of you are travelling a long way. If you insist, reserve something below so nobody doubles up.
6 gifts
Towards three nights by a lake near Bariloche after the wedding.
Out to Perito Moreno, if the weather is kind to us.
Six plates and bowls from a potter in San Telmo.
So Mateo can keep the family asado going on our balcony.
Ten classes in Buenos Aires, because Clara insists.
A box of small-producer wines every three months.
Garden formal. The ceremony is on grass and evenings in the vineyard turn cool, so bring a jacket.
Yes. There is a children's table at dinner and a babysitter at the winery from 20:00.
Not at all. Half the guests are coming from abroad, and the speeches will be in both languages.
If your invitation says so. The barrel hall has a strict headcount, sadly.
Argentine pesos for taxis and markets; most restaurants take cards. We will send tips nearer the time.
One reply per invitation, please. You can change your answer later by sending the form again.
