Bolt-on outsole
Four torque screws, replacement rubber in ten minutes. Outsole packs cost $38.
Last & Lane builds one shoe at a time. Model 03 is a road-to-gym trainer with a cupsole you can swap when the rubber wears, not the whole shoe. We publish shore hardness, drop height and last measurements in millimetres. Uppers are knit from recycled polyester with welded overlays; midsoles are poured in our Oregon lab and cured for 72 hours before assembly. Last & Lane logs wear-test mileage on the blog and publishes midsole batch numbers when a foam formula changes. Model 03 owners receive torque specs for outsole screws, midsole batch numbers and a wear log template. Our lab publishes shore A readings for every rubber lot before it ships to customers. Replacement outsoles arrive with a thread-lock packet and a QR code linking to a torque video filmed on our bench. Upper knit lots are photographed under consistent light so colour shifts between batches are documented before we publish a colourway. Wear testers log miles on asphalt, treadmill and gym floor so we know when outsole rubber is ready for a production run. Portland assembly runs three days a week so each pair clears a final bench inspection before it ships.
Replaceable outsoles ship in packs of two. Tools included.
