Every release has a date
Releases go out on alternate Tuesdays at 10:00 Pacific. The note is published at the same moment as the update, so what you read always matches what you can use.
Plotline ships an update every other Tuesday. This page lists every release with its date, what is new, what was improved and which bugs were fixed, written by the engineer who built the change and checked by someone who did not.

Filter by the kind of change, or search for a feature by name. Open a release for the full note.

Publish any roadmap as a read-only page with a link you control. Choose which columns appear, hide internal notes and switch the link off whenever you like. Viewers need no account.
Drag from one task to another to link them. Plotline moves the later task if the earlier one slips and highlights the chain that now misses its deadline.
Boards with more than two thousand cards now open in under a second. Scrolling no longer stutters in Safari, and column counts update as you drag.
Changing a due date in Google Calendar or Outlook now updates the task in Plotline within a minute, and the other way round. Conflicts show both versions and ask which to keep.
A half-written comment survived a page refresh only in Chrome. It now survives in every browser, and a banner offers to restore a draft if you return the next day.
Exports skipped custom fields that contained a comma. Those values are now quoted correctly, and older exports can be regenerated from the project menu.
Save a project as a template with its tasks, owners and relative dates. Starting a new one from the template shifts every date to match the new start day.

Every bug that a customer reported appears by name, with the version that fixed it. If we could not reproduce a problem, the note says so rather than staying silent.

The two most requested features each quarter go to the top of the plan. The roadmap below shows which request each one answers.
Plans change, so these are months, not promises. Each item links back to the request that started it.
Start a timer from a card, edit it later and see hours against the estimate on the project page.
Name an approver for a task type. The card stays in review until they sign off, and the history shows who and when.
Open your boards on a site visit without coverage, edit cards and let Plotline merge your changes when the phone reconnects.
One short email on the Wednesday after each release: the three changes that matter most and a link to the full note.
The first number changes when the product changes shape, the second with each biweekly release. Fixes between releases get a third number and appear under the release they patch.
Each entry names the plans it applies to. A feature that arrives on Team before Free says so in its first line.
An RSS feed and a JSON feed both list every release, newest first. Paste the address into a reader or have a bot post it to your team chat.
