Small leather goods · Florence, Italy

Accessories cut from single hides, numbered inside.

Vault & Quill makes wallets, folios and key cases from full-grain vegetable-tanned leather in a workshop off Via San Frediano. Each hide is photographed before cutting; every piece is numbered and registered to its owner for repairs. We do not license our patterns to factories abroad. Edges are painted by hand, linings are pigskin and hardware is solid brass that we source two blocks away. Vault & Quill registers every piece to an owner card used for repairs, re-dye quotes and hardware replacements. Owner cards store hide photos, hardware batch codes and re-dye history. Atelier tours show the edge-painting station and the brass casting samples we reject for pitting.

Repairs for life. Re-dye service available for natural vachetta.
