Driving school — Denver, Colorado

Calm instructors, dual-control Corollas, real mountain roads.

Greenlight Driver Ed teaches teenagers and nervous adults to drive in hybrid Toyota Corollas with a brake pedal on the passenger side. Lessons start in an empty car park, move to residential streets within two hours, and build up to city traffic and the I-70 foothills when you are ready. You pay per lesson or in a package, and you never sign a contract.

Learner questions

I am nervous. Will the instructor shout?

Never. Instructors are trained to keep their voice level and to stop the car if you need a break. Many students begin in an empty car park.

Do you teach manual transmission?

Yes, in a Honda Fit. Manual lessons cost $8 more per hour because of the additional wear on the car.

Can a parent sit in the back?

For under-eighteens, one parent may join the first lesson. After that we recommend the student drives with the instructor alone.
