Full-stack coding bootcamp — Austin, Texas

Twelve weeks from spreadsheet jockey to shipping developer.

Stackforge Campus is an in-person bootcamp in East Austin where you spend nine hours a day building real software with TypeScript, React and Postgres. You work in pairs, deploy something new every Friday, and spend the last three weeks on a capstone for a local client.

Students in an IT class learning coding

What a day on campus looks like

Two programmers coding together on monitors in a modern office

Pair on everything

You swap driver and navigator every ninety minutes. Instructors rotate pairs each week so you learn how to work with every kind of colleague.

Job interview discussion in a contemporary office

Career studio from week four

Mock interviews with working engineers, résumé clinics and a recruiter night where hiring managers review your portfolio over tacos.

JavaScript code on a laptop screen

A stack employers actually use

TypeScript, React, Node, Postgres and GitHub Actions. No exotic frameworks, no tutorials that break when a library updates.

Students coding in a modern computer lab

Labs open until nine

Two computer labs with standing desks, quiet booths for calls, and an instructor on duty every evening to unblock you.

The twelve-week arc

  1. Weeks 1–3

    Foundations

JavaScript, the command line, Git and HTML you can read without squinting. You ship a personal site in week one.

  2. Weeks 4–7

    Front end and APIs

React, state, forms and fetching data, finishing with a team-built dashboard for a fake logistics company.

  3. Weeks 8–9

    Back end and databases

Node, Express, Postgres and authentication. Everyone designs a schema and defends it in a review.

  4. Weeks 10–12

    Client capstone

A small Austin business or nonprofit brings a real brief. Your pair ships an MVP and presents it at demo day.

What applicants ask

Do I need to know how to code?

No, but you do need to finish a free four-week pre-course. It covers variables, functions and loops, and shows you whether you enjoy the work.

Is the bootcamp part-time?

The twelve-week cohort is full-time on campus. A part-time evening track runs for twenty-four weeks and uses the same syllabus.

How do you handle visas?

We cannot sponsor student visas, but graduates on work permits have joined every cohort.
