One-to-one coaching
Fifty-minute sessions on video or in person in Bristol. Between sessions you can send me drafts and questions, and I reply within two school days.
I'm Grace Holloway. I taught secondary science for eleven years before moving into learning design, and I now help teachers find the roles their skills already fit: training, product, policy, operations and more. We work on the CV, the story and the first three applications together.
New cohort starts after the summer term; individual coaching any time.
We list what you already do: behaviour systems, data drops, parent evenings and CPD. Then we rewrite it as outcomes a corporate recruiter recognises.
Learning design, edtech, policy, charity programmes, recruitment and operations are the usual ones. We choose three and name real employers, not job boards.
One page, results first, no education jargon. You leave with a master CV and two trimmed versions for different role types.
Scripts for reaching out to people already doing the job, plus a tracker so you are having conversations instead of sending blind applications.
Two full runs with feedback, including why you are leaving teaching and how to talk about classroom management as people leadership.
Sessions happen after school, at weekends and in the holidays, so you never have to explain a dentist appointment.

I read every application before you send it, line by line, and mark what a recruiter will skim past. Most clients send between six and ten.

Once an offer arrives, we talk salary and notice, then plan your first three months so the new job does not feel like a second NQT year.
“I thought I was only qualified to teach. Grace showed me I had been running a training programme for thirty teenagers every day.”
“The coffee chat scripts were the turning point. Two of those chats became interviews, and one became my job.”
“She never once made me feel guilty for leaving. I still miss my classes, and I am much happier.”
Every programme starts with a free call. Payment plans are available over three months at no extra cost.

No, and I would advise against it. Most clients coach while teaching and hand in notice once an offer is signed.
Learning design, corporate training, education technology, policy, charity programmes, recruitment and operations most often.
Sometimes for the first role, often not. We look at real salary data for your target roles in the first session.
Yes. Some clients move into school leadership, exam boards or tutoring businesses instead of leaving the sector.
That is exactly what the free call is for. We will talk through what you want more of, and less of, before you spend a penny.
A few details help me prepare. I suggest call times within three school days, including evenings.
