# Redesign your Shopify theme with AI

Describe the look you want; preview and publish theme changes without a developer.

The store already sells. The theme looks dated. You do not want a six-week
agency theme rebuild. Connect Shopify, describe the look, preview, and publish
the theme JSON back to the live shop.

## The path

1. [Link the store](/docs/integrations/shopify) and grant theme permissions.

2. Put the brief in an [Evolution Thread](/docs/evolve/evolution-threads):
   brand colors, header behavior, product-page priorities. Attach a photo of a
   competitor or a [mockup](/docs/evolve/design-and-mockups) you already like.

3. Preview as a shopper — mobile first. Use
   [annotations](/docs/preview-and-debug/annotate-preview) on the theme preview
   for "this add-to-cart is too low".

4. Publish to Shopify from the Shopify publish tab when the preview is right.
   Repeat in small rounds; one mega-redesign is how theme deploys go wrong on a
   Friday.

Catalog, checkout, and apps on Shopify stay where they are. Evonx is changing
